Urjowan Alsharif Interiors
Urjowan Alsharif Interiors is a boutique interior design and architecture studio founded in 2018 by Saudi interior architect Urjowan Alsharif. The studio creates interiors shaped by memory, heritage, and craft, private spaces for some of the region’s most prominent families, where discretion is as much a part of the work as design. Each project begins not with a formula but with a story, drawing on Hijazi roots, the layered cultures of the Gulf, and a deeply researched sense of place.
The identity had to hold two things at once: the richness of that cultural narrative and the restraint the studio’s world demands. We built a system around a palette of deep, named earth tones, Dark Brinjal, Liwa, Mulberry, a display typeface with real character set against a quiet contemporary sans, and a logo that works as confidently embossed on a business card as it does small on screen. The brand extends across a full collateral suite, built to feel considered in the hand, because for this studio the details are never incidental.
The website carries the same thinking into a digital space. Built on a fully customised Squarespace framework, it was designed to feel less like a portfolio and more like being walked through the studio’s world, slow, deliberate, and image-led, with custom motion and a navigation that reveals itself with intention. The work leads; the writing follows. It is a site built to earn the trust of a particular kind of client, quietly, before a single enquiry is made.
